Who we are

planMyFIRE (planmyfire.in) is a free FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) planning tool built for Indian investors. We provide calculators, articles, and a readiness quiz — all free, with no account required.

What data we collect

We collect minimal data:

• Calculator inputs — numbers you enter (expenses, corpus, age, etc.) are processed entirely in your browser. They are never sent to our servers and we never store them.
• Email address — only if you voluntarily subscribe to our newsletter. We collect your email to send you updates about new calculators and articles.
• Anonymous usage data — we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track individuals. It tells us which pages are visited and from which country — nothing more.

How we use your data

• Your email is used only to send you planMyFIRE newsletters and product updates.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your email with any third party.
• Anonymous analytics are used to understand which tools are most useful and to improve the site.

Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless by design. No cookie consent banner is required or shown.

Email storage

Newsletter email addresses are stored in a private Google Sheet accessible only to the site operators. We use Google's infrastructure, which is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP), 2023, you have the right to:

• Know what personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (right to be forgotten)
• Withdraw consent for email communications at any time

Unsubscribing

Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email hello@planmyfire.in and we will remove you within 48 hours.

Third-party services

• Cloudflare — hosts the site and provides analytics. Subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
• Google Sheets — stores newsletter subscribers. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
